Grand Hotel Minerva is situated in the splendid Piazza of Santa Maria Novella, right in the very heart of Florence and within easy walking distance of all the city's most celebrated historic monuments and museums.
The hotel has a total of 102 rooms and suites with views of either the piazza or the exquisitely beautiful cloister of the church of Santa Maria Novella.

All rooms are elegantly furnished and offer every modern comfort. A number of the superior and junior suites have both Turkish bath and Jacuzzi. The Presidential suite measures an impressive 120 square meters and features stunning frescoed ceilings. The Grand Hotel Minerva's roof top swimming pool provides guests with a breathtaking view of the city of Florence.

The light-filled "I Chiostri" restaurant, decorated with fine artworks, overlooks the hotel's charming inner garden. Chefs create menus featuring the finest Mediterranean cuisine with special emphasis on traditional Florentine and Tuscan dishes, prepared with only the finest ingredients all sourced locally. From April through October the patio of the Grand Hotel Minerva is transformed in delightful al fresco summer dining room right on the Piazza Santa Maria Novella.

The Grand Hotel Minerva has 6 elegant meeting rooms with a capacity for 25 to 90 people. The Sala Vasari, boasting a spectacular ceiling fresco, is connected to a smaller room for coffee breaks, this latter with parquet flooring and glass walls furnished with wicker chairs and sofas. Sala Greco is decorated by the great artists Indian ink designs. Sala Alberti features black and white images of Florence's Boboli Gardens. The furniture, which has been expressly designed by eminent Italian architects Edoardo Detti and Carlo Scarpa, contributes to making the rooms much more than simple meeting spaces.
